Bruff the Happy Train

Bruff the Happy Train is named after Peter Bruff who was an engineer and lived a long time ago. He loved building things and was best known for making a railway in Essex that helped people travel more easily. He helped build towns like Clacton on sea and made the Chapel railway Viaduct over 175 years ago. He was very creative and worked hard to improve transportation, making it better for everyone. His ideas still influence how we build things today!
To celebrate 200yrs of railway in 2025 we are launching a colouring competition
