Join the Community Rail Officer at Clacton Station for a fantastic beach walk to Holland and back.
Meet the Community Rail officer in the ticket office of Clacton station at 11am before we walk down through the seaside town of Clacton to the Pier, then continue North along the promenade towards Holland on Sea, stopping for a free tea of coffee (with production of rail ticket) en route.
Bring a packed lunch for a picnic on the beach at Holland before we make our way back to Clacton either by walking or catching the road train (at your own cost) back along the prom to the station.
Please wear appropriate footwear for walking and clothing to suit the weather on the day. Bring a reusable drink bottle and don’t forget your camera or sketchbook.
The community rail officer will carry a first aid kit at all times.
