The Plough , Great Bentley

A great place for a Sunday lunch after a walk around the largest village Green in the Country.

Built in the 14th Century, The Plough has been at the centre of Great Bentley ever since. Sitting right on the edge of the largest village green in England. Opening as a pub in 1825 by Edmund Almond. It has seen many owners and landlords over the years.

The Plough was taken over by the current owners , Dee’s Group, on 30th November 2018 and immediately had a major refurbishment. It has seen an amazing growth every year since with millions of pounds invested into making The Plough what it is today.

Most recently a brand new extension was built onto the back of the pub and a new garden refurbishment.

The Plough offers a large range of drinks and high quality food, with the menus forever changing to bring the best new food and drink selection to its customers.

Every month customers are treated to live music events, quiz nights and regular Karaoke evenings. All events are catered for including wakes, christenings, birthdays, weddings, engagements. With a wide range of buffet food available at great prices.
