Prittlewell railway station is on the Shenfield to Southend Line in the East of England, serving the residential district of Prittlewell in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It is situated between Southend Airport and Southend Victoria stations.

In close proximity to Southend’s stunning Priory Park, Prittlewell Priory and Southend United’s home ground, Roots Hall, it’s a great station for history and football lovers alike!

Opened in 1889 Prittlewell Station was a stop (and still is) on the line from Southend to Wickford. A goods yard near the station was used for handling coal until it closed in 1967. The station now comprises of two platforms and operates at a frequency of three trains an hour. A typical journey to London Liverpool Street takes just under an hour.
