Meet at Bures Station at about 10.30am (The 10.01 should arrive from Marks Tey at 10.13am : the 10.26am from Sudbury should arrive at 10.33am)
The goes through the village with an option for a coffee break at a local pub then on to the rolling hills. We then go on to the historic St Stephen’s Chapel, which should be open to view. This is also proposed as Edmunds Coronation Site. Beyond the chapel we reach the best view of the dragon. Then there is a walk back to the village where you can decide to stop for lunch at the pub or bring your own.
This walk is led by a volunteer with knowledge of the local area and History. By taking this wall you are taking responsibility for your own health and safety while undertaking the walk which is 5 to 7 Kilometres long please wear appropriate foot wear. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.
