Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership pulled out the stops and with the help of Greater Anglia and Network Rail managed to get the replica of the Mayflower Ship on to the Concourse at Liverpool Street.
The day was fantastic although a little stressful getting the Mayflower Ship on to the concourse was a military manoeuvre in its self with health and safety being paramount.
Lots of interest in the stall and the ship and we had some interesting conversations through out the day, Sea Shanty singers entertained passengers for over two hours and the theatre group from Harwich who dressed up as pilgrims added to the atmosphere of the day.
