The station adopters at Great Bentley have transformed the station into a vibrant community space through dedicated weekly volunteering. Their efforts include maintaining colourful gardens and handmade planters, installing local heritage photo displays by Jane Fisher, and creating a walking trail leaflet funded by the Community Rail Network. During Community Rail Week, the team hosted an open day with homemade cakes, tea, and a guided village walk for over 30 visiting adopters, showcasing the station’s charm and strong community spirit.
