Rail Safety and pollination day at Acorn village Mistley

Monday 16th May 2022 Rail Safety and pollination day at Acorn village Mistley. It was a great day working with the residents of acorn village, ESSCRP provided flower pots which were designed and painted up by people who attend the craft centre, amazing designs!! On the day Terri talked about keeping safe on the railway, using trains safely and about the power of electricity. Luke from The Bee Friendly Trust talked about pollination and provided seeds for the pots a mixture of sunflower seeds and wild flower seeds. The pots will be put outside a new building at Acorn so the residents can watch the plants grow and ESSCRP will have regular photos of the plants in the pots. The residents loved the day and were excited about planting the seeds, waiting for them to grow and learning about the train travel.
