We’ve been very busy over at Harwich Town; what was once derelict scrubland has been transformed into a thriving community garden for both people and insects!
Many teachers, support workers and members of the local community have set up a watering rota to keep the plants well watered this summer.
Everyone is now really excited about the official opening on the 27th September and the garden will have even more additions by then!
Notable shout outs to those involved in the planting and care of the garden, as well as the ESSCRP are:
- Pamoja Project/RAMA
- Harwich Community School and Nursery
- The Mayflower School
- Homestart Harwich for families in poverty
