Excitement builds for Railway’s 200th anniversary in 2025 

This is part of the growing momentum Celebrating 200 years of the railway, for the whistle up event happening on the 1^st January at 12 noon getting all heritage railways to use their train whistles, along with commercial railway if possible on the 1^st January 2025.

The Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership steering group took part in a pre-whistle up it was very loud in the smaller room than we would have liked!
