The Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership has marked the opening of Beaulieu Park Station with a unique creative collaboration involving students from the University of the Arts London.
As part of a specially commissioned competition, students were invited to produce original artworks inspired by the station’s role as a new gateway for the community.
The three winning designs were transformed into printed posters and unveiled during Beaulieu Park Station’s first station adopter open morning. The winning designs featured famous sites across Chelmsford and the notable resident, Guglielmo Marconi, a pioneer of radio technology.
The formal unveiling brought together volunteer station adopters from across Essex and South Suffolk, offering a chance to network, share ideas, and enjoy coffee and cake whilst celebrating the artwork.
