On Saturday 16th October ESSCRP organised a walk from Bures station to highlight the attraction of walking for leisure combined with train journeys. Ably, and very entertainingly, led by a local volunteer, Hugh Turner, a group of about 20 people enjoyed a walk around Bures.
We saw lovely scenery, learned a bit about the history of Bures, had coffee in a pub in front of an open fire, finishing off with a visit inside St Stephens chapel with its effigies and then of course – an amazing view of the Bures dragon!
