Catch the train from Wickford Station at 10.06am
Arrive at North Fambridge Station at 10.20am
The event will help the whole family understand issues around climate change awareness.
You will be met for a guided, information-packed walk through the Blue House Farm Nature Reserve and around the Sea Wall.
On the train you will be given a fun filled climate activity pack which will include an i-spy for the walk.
The walk will finish at North Fambridge Village Hall for tea/coffee and cake. On display will be information from the Essex Climate Action Commission giving you an insight into how we can all tackle climate change together.
The Essex Forest Initiative is supporting this event and for every ticket purchased a tree will be planted.
You will then be guided back to the station to catch the 13:21 train back to Wickford Station.
This event will be open to everyone and all ages are welcome. It will be approximately 1 hour of easy walking within the nature reserve on footpaths that are predominantly level grass tracks.
We will cater for younger children and make the activity packs fun with lots to do.
This event will take place whatever the weather: Whilst we hope, being May, you will need sunscreen, in case of rain please ensure you bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
Please note no dogs allowed on this event.
