Brian volunteering in the Wrabness Community CafeThe community shop and café at Wrabness has been open for just over a year and Dr Brian Bartley the Wrabness station adopter regularly volunteers at the shop. The café is just two minutes’ walk from Wrabness railway station and is open seven days a week. It is an ideal place to stop for a tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake.

The shop is open daily and the café is open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, however you can buy a takeaway drink from the shop and sit in the café or the café garden. The café now has a licence and the café bar is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, which is great news and an opportunity to have travel by train and have a drink.  Wrabness is an ideal place to follow the Essex Way or take in the views of the beautiful countryside and the estuary whilst relaxing in the café.
