The second year of our bucket and spade train was a great success with over 90 children joining the train from Colchester to Walton! Lots of fun on the decorated train which left Colchester Station at 9.56am on Wednesday the 10th August.
Each child got a bucket and spade and an activity pack, which included a competition to name a whale and guess how many gems in the jar! Very excited children got off the train at Walton to enjoy a day at the seaside, see our gallery of pictures from the link below.
We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming over 130 people aboard, with each child receiving activity packs as well as the bucket and spade.
The winner of the Whale (called Elsa) was Elisha and the raffle winner of 4 tickets on the Greater Anglia network was Anasua Ganguly.
